Pontcysyllte To Llangllen

An early ish start this morning to try and beat the hire boaters coming out of the basin at Llangollen, there wasn't many thankfully, we waited for 3 boats to come over the Aqueduct before we could go, we have done this route so many times it seems boring, but this time i drove over the aqueduct it's the ,first time for me so the feeling of going over was different this time and i must say a little exhilarating plus we had the added wind that we don't usually encounter, i must say the journey down to the basin doesn't change, it's still shallow in the side's and trying to get momentum to go faster don't work because as soon as you get to a nice speed there's a bridge that just drag's you back and slow's you down to nothing again, anyway on reaching the basin there was load's of room so decided to stay here till saturday and do some exploring in Llangollen village.
