Anderton Lift

It's been nearly 20 years since we first went down the lift so we thought we would give it another visit on our way back from Preston Brook seeing as we will be heading towards middlewich, i went to meet chris off the train at Runcorn on friday and we set off on saturday, when we got to Dutton stop lock tim leech and his wife were there having just come back from their trip on Kennet a small Tunnel Tug, moored up at Anderton and went in to book a free slot, we only had to wait an hour as it wasn't busy.
